The Psychosexual stages have created a great contribution to the developmental theories. The unconscious urges are called the libido. All energy is derived from the libido and there are six stages in the developmental stages in psychosexual stages where the first stage is called the oral stage. The oral stage is based on the infant’s attachment with mother and also it is the stage when the infant gets pleasure by the mouth. The actions are necessarily, the sucking etc. The second stage is the anal stage where the erogenous zone is the anus, and the actions of pleasure are defecation and controlling defecation.
